About Retire ASAP

Who is behind Retire ASAP: I’ve been studying domestic finances since I was 18 years old. I’m not smarter than you, I don’t have a privileged background, I just sat on my laptop one day, and decided to share my knowledge with people like you in order to encourage both young and middle aged individuals to take (or retake) control over their personal finances. I started this site with a simple goal: to make sense of retirement planning without noise, sales pitches, or unnecessary stuff. Over the years, I’ve learned that most people aren’t looking for complicated formulas; they just want clear, practical guidance they can actually use.

I’m not here to promise shortcuts or pretend there’s a perfect path (bc there isn’t). Retirement planning is messy, personal, and sometimes frustrating. But it’s also a lot more manageable once you understand the basics and see how the pieces fit together.

Everything you’ll find here comes from real research, real questions people ask every day, and my own interest in building a better financial future for myself. I focus on the things that matter: how to save money smarter, how to make the right choices about financial independence, and how to avoid the traps that keep people stuck.
